Description
In many organizations, the architecture of continuous delivery pipelines has become excessively complicated and more convoluted by the day. If managed improperly, the continuous delivery flow of a product ends up being more complicated and resource intensive than the product itself. This talk is intended to motivate teams to take a moment and reflect on their Continuous Delivery/Deployment pipeline architecture with the sole purpose of evaluating their design and determining the steps that can be taken to improve it.
In this session, I will highlight the different reasons that may contribute to the excessive complexity of continuous delivery pipeline architecture. I’ll also talk about policies and procedures to keep the architecture simple and manageable in the long run to avoid nth-degree effects that may result in catastrophic failure. The talk will also look into the various non-technical aspects of an organization that affects the eventual design of the delivery pipeline flow.
