Microservices, yay! Monoliths, boo! A microservices architecture bring a raft of benefits over an old school monolithic beast, but at a cost. Live coding using Gradle, Dropwizard, and Swagger, I will show an approach that I have been using to defer the cost of a microservices architecture until you need it while avoiding the problems associated with a monolith.
